POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Key requirements 

The successful applicants will be experienced in the telecommunications industry and able to demonstrate a broad range of competencies, including;

• Fibre Splicing
• Working in live fibre networks
• Internal Cabling 
• Assessing installation requirements
• Planning and performing installations
• Prep & splicing of FTPs & joints 
• OTDR, power meter & light source fibre optic commissioning
• Fault finding & rectification works

Our Fibre Technicians must;

• Have an open cable licence
• Have a drivers Licence and own a car
• Have a Construction Induction – White card 
• Work well independently and in a team environment
• Physically Fit
• Willing and able to travel for work as required
• Have or able to obtain police checks
• Have or able to get Working with Children Check 
• Be hardworking & reliable
